IF YOU WANT TO PLAY THIS BUY ON GOG! For some reason; the steam version won't run on modern-ish systems. This game when it runs sat at around 40 FPS at 1080p on high settings with shadows off.

Those that have a marginally better PC than me have a better chance with this game. With the FAR mod installed, I was around 15-25 which seems good...However once below 30 the game itself slows down.

My FPS varied depending if I was indoors or outdoors. Indoors my FPS was in the high 40's and outdoors it was closer to 30. All at 720p. With this game, lower FPS doesn't really hinder gameplay.

This is the first Dragon Engine Yakuza game and it had a reputation for low FPS on the PlayStation. So, what does that mean for my lowend PC? It means FPS in the range of 13-18 on all low settings.

On all low settings, I barely managed 15 FPS. Any AC game after Unity is simply too graphically intensive to play on my system.

This game marks the furthest extent my laptop can go into the AC series. This game uses the same engine that was in 3 and Black Flag which means it ran at a rather steady 25-40 FPS.

5 uses the same engine as Yakuza 0 which means it actually runs better than 3 and 4. I ran this game at a comfortable 25-30 FPS at 1280 x 720p at 70% render scale. At those settings it looked great.

When compared to the previous game (Y3), it runs pretty much the same. My FPS topped out at about 30 FPS, however I did notice that their were more FPS drops in this game than Y3.

Even though this is a "remaster" of one of the oldest Yakuza games, it is quite the CPU hog. On low settings (100% render scale) I was at and around 30 FPS. Movespeed is tied to FPS which is weird.

Another great game which was originally more low-end friendly, but since only the definitive edition is available it's more difficult to run. I averaged out at 18-25 most of the time.
