It's a mixed bag but overall it still comes out as one that is genuinely fun to persevere with.

It was an experience. Say what you will about Harvester, but it's certainly not boring.

Cyber Shadow starts off relatively slow and shallow, but builds itself up to a beautiful ballet of swirling swords and defensive dodges.

It's ruddy good value, even at full price. Are there things that could have been added? Yes... but whatever, these things are fluff when you consider these games are still amazing regardless.

Don't go into the game expecting a jolly side-scrolling golf arcade game. This is, first and foremost, a narrative tale. If you come looking for face value fun, you're probably not going to find it.

At less than a fiver, the high-score chasing alone is going to have you coming back.

It's a bite-sized chunk of puzzling fun that scratches a deckbuilders itch, it's a thinker with a side-dose of "screw you".

It is very hard. But it's never unfair, and it's very rarely frustrating, and that all comes back down to this incredible design choice: 13 seconds. Levels are slim and imaginative.

As a precision platformer, it not only does exactly what you would want it to do, it does so in such ingenious ways that it constantly surprises from start to finish. It is a joy. A genuine joy.

Reiterate, much like the channel that spawned it, is a lesson in game design.
