I highly recommend this game for Total War players, history based gamers, and strategy gamers. I particularly like the challenge in higher difficulties and the mythical based campaign.

This game is a fun city builder. Based in Roman times, you build a village or if you can a city, control resources, control trade, there is a few bugs, however, these can be dealt with. Recomended 3.8

For when the medieval period is not your choice, this game covers the period around the American Revolution, New World colonization. This game is great for those that want guns and pirates.
