A 'My First XCOM' game that suffers from being a bit too distant from its source material. A worthwhile experience, but not a patch on its grown up siblings.

Surprisingly, unyieldingly moreish. It's not a particularly clever game but it's nailed the 'one more turn' feeling of much more complicated things. Certainly worth your time.

Well, of course. It's a masterpiece, and while it's a bit faster paced than most games I'd recommend for board gamers this is like playing the best RPG campaign you'll ever experience.

For people that enjoyed the deduct 'em up of Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective, here's something absorbing to sink into. Not sure it's fun, but it's definitely an astonishingly innovative game.

Stranger Things: The Video Game. Except it plays a bit like a board game. So it's a video game version of a board game that doesn't exist that isn't based on the show it most clearly evokes.
