This game has an extremely twitchy, high-grip physics model. It reminds me of racing the Pagani in NFS: ProStreet's Speed challenges (on gamepad). Cannot recommend without experience using a wheel.

Unless you find a group/clan to play with, it is not worth the investment. Often, unless you are in these groups, you will often be kicked from servers and be unable to play with other people.

If you've ever played Euro Truck Simulator (2), this is the far-western counterpart. Good if you are more familiar with US cities and units. Downside: Small truck selection, and no Mack trucks.

Good if you enjoy the behind-the-scenes side of racing. Not very complex, but can be challenging. With multiple series (and tiers within those series), there is a lot of replay potential.

Very relaxing, beautiful scenery across the continent. DLC not necessary for full gameplay. Casual game, with a moderate amount of grind. Will get several hundred hours of playtime out of it.

Great game, but there is a huge grind. Variety of land, sea and air vehicles across many nations. Devs value historical accuracy for vehicle specs, and balance via vehicle tiers (ranks).
