This is a decent ARPG (albeit a bit shallow) that has unfortunately been given the moniker of "co-op game". There is co-op, but it's not fleshed out at all. Otherwise, HUGE improvement over the OG.

I don't recommend it for one reason: it's too damn easy. You need to beat the game to unlock Challenge Mode, or find a save file, and even then that might not help. There's a lot to like too, a shame.

I haven't checked out the SECOND remaster (jesus christ), but the original Gears is not only a fun game, it's unlike the rest of the trilogy with its use of horror elements. Still fun, a little dated.

Felt more like DLC to 2 than a sequel. Unlike 2, it's short, but it's skippable since almost nothing of note happens, and it's just as repetitive. Even more so with almost no new mechanics or systems.

It went from the thought-provoking discussions of free will in the first to loud Italians. Still, an improvement over the original's gameplay, though it continues the repetition. Strong protagonist.

This is a compelling narrative wrapped in a great historical setting and aesthetic. The problem is the gameplay: It's a glorified tech demo. Watch it on YouTube instead. Needs a good remake, badly.

Great horizontal Metroidvania and ARPG, a true successor to Simon's Quest that isn't terrible. Has some very frustrating, instant-death story traps where you could tell the developer was trolling.

Lots of mixed feelings so far, but I will recommend it if you can get it cheap. This should not be $70. Feels like the overworld and narrative direction cut into map and mission development. Lacking.

A good representation of the modern tactical shooter for the casual player: broken. You will play SWAT 4 with mods for the rest of your life because modern developers are incompetent, egomaniacs.

A massive disappointment. Still is with awful, restrictive levels and gun unlocking. GRAW 1 & 2 on console were amazing titles. This is a bad, third-person Call of Duty game with co-op.
