Before Shining Force there was this excellent dungeon crawler with some really addictive dungeons to explore. The only downside was a really high encounter rate that could sap your energy

If Dungeon Master changed the dungeon crawler paradigm, Eye of the Beholder 1-3 managed to succeed by sheer eye candy and a great GUI. Three large dungeons to explore with lots of monsters and puzzles

Love letter to early Wizardry games with beautiful monster and dungeon art and excellently crafted dungeons. If you can overcome your fear of mapping a dungeon by hand, you will have a great time here

It's the bland & generic Ubisoft timeline, but given that it's a competent late sequel that is a lot of fun to play even if it doesn't quite capture the sense of endless explorable vistas of older M&M

The only good thing to come out of the debacle that was TB4, a slightly upgraded version of the original BT trilogy that has all the charm of the originals, with better packaging, still great today

I didn't like the way it handled char dev, but a lot of the innovations on display here are quite neat, added to that a massive & varied amount of content & a fun plot, one of the better blobbers
