Harold Halibut is definitely memorable, as I’ve never played a game quite like it, but it can also be frustrating in its pacing, lack of direction, and limiting gameplay.

Tells a relatable story about the complexities of family and the secrets they keep from each other, but it took a step backwards by making the gameplay feel more like a chore than fun exploration.

Melody of Moominvalley takes you into a world you never want to leave, full of friendships, musical puzzles, and silly rules to break. The quintessential "wholesome" game in its themes and characters.

Humanity is simple-looking game with a silly premise, but it’s a catchy and addictive good time thoroughly solving its puzzles.

Challenging but rewarding; despite its incredibly grim, bloody, and bleak world, it remains a hopeful story about the ability to love. A much needed "vengeful mom" story.

Stray Gods blew me away with its voice acting, art, characters, and freedom to create your own musical path - I only wish the vocal and musical prowess had been as impressive.

A really creative and free-form little journey; its lovely characters would've been enhanced if it'd had more interesting and polished dialogue. An incredibly adorable sticker-book world.

Cocoon's worlds are strange but captivating and its puzzles are satisfyingly mind-bending, although I wouldn't have minded a bit more puzzle complexity and exposition about the environment.

Sludge Life 2 is funny, stylish, grimy, and perhaps even weirder than Sludge Life - but it doesn't really do anything particularly new or surprising to exceed it.

An incredible package - standout writing, lovable voice-acted characters, fun new mechanics, and a captivating small-town drama. One of my favorite farming sims ever!
