Just my thoughts on games I've played over the years. I plan to mostly focus on games I've enjoyed, but there will probably also be some in here that I won't recommend.

A game that distils and simplifies the gameplay of the original Thief but puts it into a mysterious near-future world of secret agents and corruption. Avoid take-downs and it's a good, stealthy time.

A very strange, almost incomprehensible game at times, but it has some of the best first-person melee combat around. It's got a fairly unique style to it. Almost entirely combat, like a 3D brawler.

Apart from some stupid character writing and a small number of areas that seemed impossible get through completely unnoticed, I mostly enjoyed it. Not even close to being a worthy successor, though.

A short but fun game that left me wanting more. You're given many options for dealing with situations creatively, and the gameplay is different from anything I've seen before.

Terrible models and animations, but it's a really impressive RPG. It has amazing music, well-crafted world and interesting characters. Maybe mod it to give you weapon skills for less tedious combat.

The game has a fairly nice look to it, but little excitement and no interesting characters. Boring level design, but passable cover-based, give-orders-to-teammates combat. Didn't care for the story.

The game has a passable story but annoying, tedious combat. Some of the visuals were nice and the world was fairly atmospheric. Decent voice acting too. I didn't get much enjoyment out of it though.

An excellent FPS focused on action and set pieces with good level design and fun combat. Good pacing, a decent selection of weapons and some nice environment variety round out the package.

A nice-looking action RPG filled with strange design decisions and under-developed gameplay that, for me, made the game less enjoyable than it might have been. It's okay, but I can't recommend it.

The multiplayer is terrible, but working through levels with friends is great and there is a pretty huge amount of content in the game. The AI can show you tricky routes to try for better times.
