Short but well balanced with a great mix of escape rooms and somnium gameplay. Fairly silly instalment but highly enjoyable and worth playing for fans of the series. I loved seeing all the cast again!

So much content (side quests, fighting styles, cosmetics, etc.) with impressive 'choices matter' system for branching narrative and multiple endings. Excellent characters and setting with great story!

Chilled out 2D adventure set in 1980s Japan. Loved the atmosphere and the cosy town environment, yet the story lacked depth. Gameplay was simple, but the collectables/side quests provided more detail.

Features 2 separate games. 999 is a masterpiece with excellent storytelling, gripping plot and great puzzle design. VLR's plot is longer and weaker with much less atmosphere, but still worth a read.

Shop/debt repayment simulator with an intriguing, but crazy concept. Fun for the most part although it could be a bit of a grind and the dungeons sucked. Worth at least one playthrough. Capitalism ho!

Loved the idea! A great base for an amazing management game, however, it needs a lot of work to keep things balanced. Also had too many irritating bugs that made the gameplay increasingly frustrating.

Not a bad game, but the weakest of the series with all the best bits taken out. Too timid and instructive for horror, and the plot wasn't overly interesting. Enjoyed seeing the cast from the 1st game!

Quirky typing game featuring riddles, word puzzles, and touch-typing combat. Amazing sense of humour with phenomenal voice acting and stylish visuals. Offers both a real-time or turn-based mode.

Clearly inspired by Kurosawa's films & cleverly designed with some great cinematography angles, although sometimes disorientating. Gameplay did get a bit stale but it was refreshing to see a new idea.

Wanted to love it but the insane amount of backtracking, hidden content and unclear story made it incredibly unfun and tedious. Having to rely on the Wiki to see most of the content isn't good design.
