Thematically calls upon sci-fi games and movies like Alien and Dead Space, combining them with some mildly entertaining Metroid-like gameplay. The game is broken and almost unplayable, unfortunately.

This "game" is pure vapid trash. Conceptually it is a ripoff of Viscera Cleanup Detail, but it is neither as functional, nor as pretty or entertaining.

Machine Games improves the formula from New Order by tossing in over the top personalities, ludicrous science, funky futurized tech, a deeper focus on story, and a hefty helping of ♥♥♥♥ shooting.

Wonderful graphics and a web of current-affairs and pop culture memery belie the fact FC5 is the most stripped down and disjointed game in the series to date. Hopefully the DLC will redeem this game.

Sometimes amazing graphics, sound design, and storywriting are enough to mask utterly boring and contrite gameplay. Worth a playthrough for the experience but you'll never play the game a second time.
