A fresh take on the Souls-like formula. Set in feudal Japan, this game combines fast paced combat with impeccable sound design and graphics. Must have based on a demo playthrough. 9/10.

A massive let down for owners of the Prepare To Die Edition, but a welcome minor refresh for new players. Buy if you've never played DS1 before, completely ignore if you have. 3/10

A fantastic little indie game which essentially crosses a Dark Souls like atmosphere with a boss gauntlet. Encourages learning by repetition like the original. 9/10

The game that started it all. Graphics are aging, and gameplay is rather casual compared to the sequels but delves into the history of The Witcher and is recommended for fans of the franchise. 7/10

A throwback to FInal Fantasies of old, This game is meant for both fans and new audiences and will mostly satisfy. Some recycled content and uninspired gameplay but well worth a buy. 7/10.

The Witcher 3 is a revolutionary RPG set in medieval Europe. It has set a benchmark for future RPGs and packed to the brim with content. It will take hundreds of hours to "complete" this game. 8/10

Nioh: CE combines the base game with all the available DLC content. It borrows heavily from the Souls franchise, but is set in feudal Japan. Lots of content is recycled. May get boring. 6.5/10

Dark Souls II is the most experimental game in the Souls franchise. Whilst it delivers the same satisfying feel as the original, changes are sometimes too "out there" for a Souls game. 7/10.

Dark Souls III is a perfection of the Souls formula. It delivers unparalleled combat reactivity and keeps you on your toes. Horrfying bosses and beautiful storylines: Dark Souls III has it all. 10/10.
