Possibly one of the best titles Paradox has ever done. The population mechanic and the progression that you can see within your country due to the process of industrialization is always fun to see.

Although not precisely one of the best Paradox strategy games, I'll be honest when I say that the mods have enveloped a lot of time from me. Definitely try out the Kaisereich and Red World mods.
