I respect the hell out of Siege. Unique shooter gameplay, great graphics, well supported over time, and fun to play. But it's just not for me, too much down time and respawns too long.

A new modern Doom? No way that can be good. Except they do the impossible and freaking nail it - the new Doom captures the soul of the original in a modern powerhouse with great combat and tech. 9/10

While it shares a creator, this is no Super Meat Boy. It's slower and less stylish. But still if you like brutal platformers this is a great play, even if I've yet to finish it. 7/10

Did Nidhogg need a sequel? Does the art put you off? I felt the sameway - & then I fell in love with Nidhogg 2, art included. Same great Nidhogg, new weapons, new levels, good online multi this time.

Gloriously minimalistic, Nidhogg distills combat down to intense fast paced 1v1 swordplay. A staple of our local multi sessions. Online multi is laggy. Music, art, & gameplay are fantastic. 10/10

Cooking + Puzzle game + hack n slash. While story mode ultimately suffers from lack of variety, the core gameplay always remains a blast, while a hard mode and daily challenges add replayability. 8/10

The second game from the one-man Gunpoint dev, Heat Signature is every bit as fun of a stealth action game, but puts it in space with rogue-like sensibilities and endless procedural worlds. 9 / 10

Don't let it's simple looks fool you, Gunpoint is a stealth puzzle game that is ridiculously fun. Made by one man, the game is stylish, unique, and again, just plain fun to play. Highly recommended!

The roguelike meets genre X trend comes to...falling down a well? This rogue-like platformer has deeper mechanics then it first appears, and is an absolute blast to play. For $3 you can't go wrong.

Beautiful pixel art, amazing soundtrack, tough but rewarding combat, this 2d adventure hack and slash is hard to give a genre but easy to recommend. A true indie gem, this game is not to be missed!
