The building is good and snappy. The resource system and everything else that serves to drive the building is ill-paced and a bit underwhelming next to its contemporaries.

Fascinating, engrossing and overwhelming... until it is eventually none of those things. Thoroughly enjoyed the first ~40 hours, but what it demands of you to reach endgame is beyond mind-numbing.

Simple good dumb fun. Sort of the rhythm game equivalent of QWOP or other fumblecore, if not as difficult to get to grips with.

An overpriced release of a freeware opensource game made by a random one of the hundreds of contributors who's not even working on it anymore. Good game, bad release, Bright Nights is better anyway.

Climb stuff. Get poisoned. Starve and fall to your death a lot. It's okay solo, but really shines as a party game.

Still unfinished? Yes. As much fun as Stardew? Pretty close, as long as solo-only isn't a dealbreaker for you. The characters feel even more alive and there's a TON of dialogue.

Story is kinda neat. Actually playing it is just plain arduous.

It should fire the same neurons as FEAR, but it doesn't. The mechanics are fine but the level design and enemy AI just fall spectacularly short of being anywhere near as engaging.

A rhythm game where rhythm isn't the challenge; instead, parsing the visual soup of notes. Roughly equivalent to simultaneously playing 2.5 separate games of Guitar Hero as communicated by semaphore.
