Just like the older games it has good gameplay and a much improved graphics. However, unlike older games it suffers from poor optimisation, bad UI and no "one more turn" (wtf).

A big innovation from the previous mh games including open world, free exploration elements, and a more forgiving combat system. However, it does suffer from the modern plague of poor optimisation.
