I enjoyed their other game, Cast n' Chill, on Switch, so I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with this off-grid wilderness take. (Hopefully there's a launch bundle, so I can play them on Deck.)

Interesting. Consider this a 'reminder' pin to myself to look into this title and the first game as well!

The dev has several titles in the works, all looking like flavor-of-the-month projects being rushed out simultaneously with AI help. This one's just another top-down zombie looter. Get HumanitZ instea

Honest question, am I the only one who thinks the trailer and the overall store page vibe just scream AI slop?

I'm not seeing any incentive to download this game versus the 92812 others that have the exact same setup - is there a unique hook (or even a nod at something) somewhere?

One day I need to sit down and play a S.T.A.L.K.E.R game so that I have a frame of reference when folks tell me S.T.A.L.K.E.R like games are survival and not just extraction fps pew pew looters.

I bet if I showed you the trailer with no other context - like maybe on YouTube - you'd 100% think this was a mobile game, or one of those trailers that pops up while browsing social media.

Demo released Feb 2026. Little Steam activity since June; Discord/YouTube are sporadic, with development scattered across multiple projects. Feels a bit meandering. I wouldn't hold my breath.

Completely forgot about this game since hearing about it back in 2022. I vaguely remember a meh demo, too?I suggest checking out some of the detailed negative reviews - they seem pretty on point.

Solid demo, cute woodland animals, and a commendable commitment to human-drawn art. Skip if you want survival depth since it largely boils down to the (unnecessary) inclusion of a food bar.
