The long wait is finally over: Though still in EA, this is a clear buy! From the makers of Cold Waters (similar to Red Storm Rising) comes a title similar to Fleet Command with a touch of Harpoon/CMO!

With the NWP mod, Fleet Command is still on par with similar newer titles (Sea Power). It holds itself very good for it's age and is considered as the entry towards complex titles like Harpoon & CMO.

It's seems appropiate to quote the devs: "Tactical Realism Reborn. Miss the old tactical shooters of the late '90s and early 2000s?" From one of the devs behind the old real Rainbow Six & Ghost Recon.

The successor to Microprose's old Red Storm Rising. If you are into WWIII and want some arcade action, this is your game. It's a joy to fire it up once in a while and fight in these cold waters.

Great tactical special operations title. Plan your entry and/or plan it on the fly while situation can change. A great SWAT/Rainbow Six from above.

After Harpoon & CMANO the next one in line is CMO! Overworked & tweaked for us, the community. TacView Advanced is supported, BUT don't buy this expensive tool unless you seriously fly DCS/BMS too!

Went to war in Panzer General back then? Then you know what Panzer Corps is about. Tactics! It provides a nice challenge and/or intro to light wargaming. An alternative to this is Order of Battle WW2.
