Basically the most gorgeous-looking "Castletroid" there is. A worthy successor to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night! Chock full of features. May run hot on less powerful PCs. DRM-free on GOG.

Excellent atmosphere/soundtrack, attention to detail, smooth&enjoyable controls. Inspired by OoE in good ways. Story-driven theme of things being more complex than they seem. DRM-free on GOG, Humble.

Procedurally-generated metroidvania. Combat style (multiple weapons/subweapons) & controls seems to take after Castlevania games. Has roguelike mode w/leaderboard. DRM-free at GOG and Humble.

I haven't played this yet (just got this on GOG), but I have noticed that you can switch between first-person and third-person. This is a cool feature.

a.k.a. "Sora to Umi ga, Fureau Kanata", this VN is part of Pulltop's coming-of-age trilogy, and is set in (and acts kinda like a tourism brochure for) the Ogasawara Islands. Requires Steam.

Basically, a rhythm game that constitutes the music video of a concept album, telling the story of a creature's journey, with the scenes flowing one after another. Pretty nice, though Steam-only.

Roguelike with very extensive crafting system, NES-style cute&colorful feel, and tuneful chiptune music. All keys rebindable except "L" & "R" for some reason. Requires Steam.

Metroidvania platformer. Seems kinda complicated, with lots of words about stuff. Will update this review after I play the game. Steam-only but natively DRM-free.
