Great Potential to Watch For

This list is for VR games I don't necessarily recommend at this time but definitely recommend watching the development of. These games are on a good path.

A truly unique co-op with a focus on careful teamwork and brutal difficulty. Inb4 "Dark Souls of Co-op". Instant Buy if you like pubs or have friends to join you. 300 hours & still going strong.

This game was so exceptional that I bought RE8 the instant I beat the game, only to start another save while waiting for the download. Cost for me was $0.63/hr for 47 hours playtime.

RE8 is just about a perfect sequel, with a great story, an ending that left a far larger impact than I expected, and overall just a fantastic experience that left me not wanting it to end.

RANK- Buy Now WHY- An acid trip of a hitman style game with a surprising amount of depth and subtext. COST- 11hrs at review, $1.81/hr

RANK- Buy WHY- A ghost hunting game with tomb raiding, mummies, and an instantly unique identity. New & has buckets of promise. TIME/PRICE- 8.5 hrs at review, $1.53/hr

DBD is great if you have the right attitude. As a mostly private game player, I adore DBD. Don't rage, don't be toxic, and you'll have a good time. DLC model sucks The Clown's butt. $5/killer is yuck.

RANK- Wait For Sale WHY- Great fun but too easy. Needs optimization. Arkane fans won't be disappointed. Epitome of "great but flawed". COST RATIO- 22hrs at time of review, $2.72/hr

Doom Eternal alone is proof that old dogs can and will learn new tricks when devs with vision, talent, and passion come together. Buy it now, rip and tear.

It is the Borderlands formula given all the polish of a modern triple-A shooter. Storyline is terrible & this sequel will be controversial among Borderlands fans. Buy on mild sale.
