Honestly? Never really got it. Melee combat like this never clicked with me and I would have liked a connective thread. The game is fun though and there are more mods than you can shake a stick that.

The pawn system is amazing and makes DD a must-play. That said, the game does have issues with replayability and I would recommend a mod to even out stat gains. Otherwise, the game feels restrictive.

Fun little sim where you lead a racing team through strategy and research. If you are not into this kind of racing it can be difficult wrapping your head around race strategy but it's rewarded.

It's really old now, quite ugly, but the gameplay that made Disgaea a cult classic is still there. With the game going so cheap during sales there's really no excuse. Mods are available in the forums.

More fun than 3 but a technical nightmare. Needed to disable all but two processor cores just to stop the game from freezing and even then there were a few crashes too. Try at your own risk.

It's pretty repetitive as far as gameplay goes but lots of fun in co-op mode. Character, gang, and car customization are cool. Lots of mods to try both on the workshop and from external sources.

Floaty controls, clumsy combat but with a good plot focused on political intrigue. Introduces a lot of characters and a fair amount of choices that will carry onto the next game, worth playing.

Impressive and fun but flawed. Gorgeous art, music, everything. Do NOT skip the tutorial game even if you are familiar with the genre. The AI can be a little weak and MP crashes sometimes.

Worth playing the whole trilogy. Don't spam clicks to attack! One click = several swings. The first boss is probably the hardest in the game. Don't forget to buy the drowner-repelling talisman too.

A great entry in the series and a perfect introductory game for newcomers. Wholly outclassed by the sequel, and yet it can be considered DLC for II so it's still worth getting.
