An exceptional story that is written and presented so well that it gets you to immerse yourself in - instead of powering through - the repetitive and time consuming parts of the game. 9/10

Consistently engaging experience. The comparison to Portal is not too far off! Only complaints are occasional inconsistencies and arbitrarily chosen rules to the mechanics (like the flies). 8/10

While offering the same old beloved mechanics and design philosophies as the pioneers of this genre, Cannibal Abduction gets stale too fast and lacks the needed impact or wit to be special. 4/10

Stylish, creative and absorbing. Perhaps follows the steps of its ancestors a bit too closely. I didn't love it as much as I thought I would. Still, this game is more than the sum of its parts. 8/10

PSX-styled games are a joy by default but praises for this game unfortunately cut short as there isn't much of note if you've played scarier, higher quality and more creative horror games before. 4/10

Smooth airtight controls, game mechanics begging to be mastered and solid level design. Lackluster music and sort of rugged environment art drag the mystique and pleasure of this game down to a 7/10.

Amusing style. Light character progression mechanics. Mediocre level design. Not much more to write home about but the gunplay really is remarkably satisfying all things considered. 5/10

Visuals still hold up today but the gameplay expects too much patience from the player to be worth reaching the few decent concepts that it has especially towards the end. You're not missing out. 5/10
