Feels more like a fantasy version of Mass Effect 2 where a lot of the experience has been condensed and streamlined in order to focus more on arcade combat, companions and customisation. 8/10

A decent enough idea on paper. A plethora of text and numbers, and little in the way of actual gameplay means it's actually boring. It's also broken too. 5/10

My favourite game to play with the kids. While the game is a competent enough cosy farming sim/RPG, Stardew Valley really shines when playing co-op with others. 9/10

If you want to get a taste of what it's like to be the "guy in the chair" dispatching emergency services, this is the game for you. 7/10

Basic UI, some dumbed down gameplay and the splitting of the game into three acts with weird victory conditions means it can be a hard pill to swallow, but there's still fun to be had. 7/10

Looks pretty, lots of customisation options, and some of its gameplay design choices seem more mature and realistic than Civ, but it ultimately lacks any soul and isn't really much fun. 6/10

Unpacking is a casual game that employs a novel approach to environmental storytelling and while it should be commended for what it achieves, it is a bit lean on the gameplay and over in hours. 7/10

True Colors is a beautiful looking game and will feel familiar to Life is Strange fans but some might be put off by the seemingly weak superpower and the occasional plot holes. 8/10

A truly authentic experience for the Star Trek fans with great attention to detail, compelling characters, and an epic soundtrack. If only it didn't have annoying animation and framerate issues. 8/10

If you love trucks and America, American Truck Simulator has you sorted. The game can be as chilled or challenging as you want and the high attention to detail is impressive. 7/10
