Nice little turn based roguelike. Easy on the effects and you can pick it up/put it down as needed. Good for playing with a headache.

Nice, relaxing Factorio like game. No enemies, just plan out your base and make it more and more efficient. Perfect for headache play as you can take everything at your own pace.

Nice, relaxing puzzle game using tiles on a board to chart a path for as long as you can. Soft music and turn-based. A perfect alternative to an intense game if you have a headache/migraine.

Nice relaxing game with a quirky twist on the crossword puzzle. Can play at your own pace, not too intense. Recommended for playing with a headache. Fonts could use more contrast to minimise eyestrain

Great game to play whether headache-free or not. Not too stressful and you can set to play in a more peaceful world so there is no pressure. Recommended.

Perfect to play when you have a headache (or without one!). Turn based, no pressure and can be quit/saved at short notice if needed. Gives you time to think about your strategy and just plain fun.

Great free game & good to play with a headache. You can do ♥♥♥ battles & set turns to progress when you want them to, so no pressure or stress to add to your headaches!

Unfortunately abandoned and has many negative reviews abound, but this is still my go-to for when I want to indulge my post-Earth megalomania ;) Demo available for those who are interested.

Kicking myself that I haven't recommended this before! Lent the disk of this to Jaynay back in the day... and he's still cursing me for getting him hooked ;p Old school, but will remain my favourite.
