With how much this game has been hyped up and praised, I was expecting more. I certainly was expecting movement to not feel sluggish, guns to feel better, and for a better control scheme.

I do like the puzzle-y aspect of Spells & Secrets, but it feels sluggish, the story is both there and not there, and the roguelike genre does not fit. It could have been better as a narrative life sim

Umurangi was a game I thought I would like, after all I liked other photography games, but this one just felt bad to play and I didn’t like the bonus objectives or the timer tied to get more equipment

H.A.N.D. looks gorgeous, feels great to play, and does a good job with its theme, but I wish healing wasn’t as stingy, bosses hit a bit too hard, and it gets boring as you reach 10 hours of playtime.
