Nice re-release of the castle buliding classic. Suprisingly good portrayal of the First Crusade, with plenty of old-school nostalgia factor. Mechanics haven't aged well - buy during sale!

Had high hopes for TKC, but my dreams ended up as broken as this game. Fairly accurate portray of the 3rd crusade, marred by slow battles, poor unit balance and frequent crashes.

Worth getting for the nostalgia-factor, and piece of FPS history in its own right. Plays smoothly on a modern rig, and presents a spicy old-school WW2-themed romp.

Completely ahistorical, but set in fun remix of WW2 and the following period. Challenging on the right difficulty setting, nice easter eggs and plenty of action - worth grabbing in a sale.

Not always the smoothest to play, but have to hand it to the devs for their continued support and improvement of the game. Nice range of WWI locations and factions (including the elusive Belgians)!

Still massively overpriced on Steam, yet CoD2 remains the king of WW2 shooters from the oversaturated early 2000s. Nice campaign, fun multiplayer romp, good range of historical locations.

In the era of forced challenges in roguelike games, Rune presents a refreshingly tough old-school romp. The representation of the Viking era is BS, but its a fun use of the themes and myths.

Great music, acting and level design make this a fun dive into 1940s LA. Scouring crime scenes can get frustrating, but take it with a pinch of salt and play it for the vintage road trips.

Potentially great WW2 era strategy game with nice mechanics, ruined by too much DLC and unnecessary microtransactions. The base game doesn't have enough content - buy only if heavily discounted!

Often dismissed as a broken POS, Empire is still epic despite its flaws. Huge 18thC map, varied factions and a nice range of units. Beware: AI is terrible and it doesn't run well even in 2017!
