A strange world full of things to explore, this is one of the generation's must-have metroidvanias. Rough in some key progression spots and spotty sound design, but a blast to play through overall.

A surprisingly incredible translation from 2D to 3D, RoR2 is more of the same but different enough to feel worth your time. Ridiculous amounts of fun and chaos, a must-have roguelite.

A fun dungeon crawler with turn-based combat. Some combat balance is off, especially early on, but the story is engaging and the grid-based exploration feels sufficiently rewarding. Pretty solid.

Better than the Secret of Mana Remake, but not by much. Fun to play but I wouldn't be invested if it wasn't a mana game. Feels very "indie" in presentation. Feels off in many ways. I don't hate it?

Slay the Spire and Megaman Battle Network had an illegitimate child and it feels so good. Brutally difficult but immensely satisfying as you begin to learn how to move and attach efficiently. So fun!

A very difficult platformer with beautiful pixel art and incredibly responsive controls and levels that give you a rush when you beat them and figure them out. Ton of content if you're into completion

A neat little take on the city-building god game. The game brings tower defense mechanics into the genre and will devour your time if you're not careful, but in a good way. Pretty relaxing to play.

This is one of my favorite cRPGs ever. It's difficult, unbalanced, and hasn't aged particularly well, but I still enjoy it. It's very time consuming but if you're looking for a good cRPG, think on it!

High-action roguelite where you're a very agile spell-flinging wizard. Tons of different spells and items to make each run unique. If you like roguelites at all, pick this one up.

This is the spiritual successor to Dungeon Keeper that you're looking for. It's not dungeon keeper, but it might as well be! A delightfully devilish dungeon simulator and god (devil) game.
