Overall, the game is well worth a punt, annoyances aside it presents a solid scary experience at a very reasonable price.

Following the route that its predecessors took, it’s a mindless bit of violence, well balanced with continuing rewards.

Although it is not perfect the fact that Alan Wake dares to try something different should interest serious game players. Altough, here the developers may have bitten off more than they can chew.
