Black Mesa is largely what you'd expect from a Half Life remake. However, towards the end of its long awaited Xen section, it unexpectedly jumps the shark in every way possible. It's worth seeing.

Scratched an itch for survival with many different skills to levelup while also providing good multiplayer fun. Couldn't find a goal after making a decent farm and tools, hoping for more content soon.

Any rough edges are made worth it by coop dungeon crawling, meaningful and fun survival mechanics, and plenty of surprisingly useful items. A charming world that makes you want to live in it.

Where gameplay of many MMOs suffers terribly, Wakfu is one of the funnest. Its grid and turn based combat makes every little character upgrade meaningful, putting all control in your hands.

Good enemy variety, and every weapon has a niche. A good variety of different approaches to labyrinth-style level design, though I did enjoy some a lot more than others.

Pretty cool fighter/platformer where swappable limbs dictate what attacks you can do. A fun little campaign + local versus mode. Stylish customizable playstyles, good fun.

A very janky game, but janky in the charming way. Tons of playstyles, from stealth hacking everything to jumping high into the air with a minigun, slamming down, and using Shadow Clone Jutsu.

Fast paced FPS with a great wizard theme. Good enemy and upgrade variety together with random elements make this one of the more enjoyable singleplayer FPS experiences I've had.

A whimsical, minimalist art style, with some fascinating sound design to match. Gameplay has cool ideas, but is difficult in ways that aren't always fun.

A game where each square of the world is owned and built by a player to provide some kind of challenge or story for people passing through. You'll see some weird stuff for sure.
