This game has a nice balance of X-Wing vs TIE Fighter, and more modern competitive games. 5v5 may seem small but it makes your decisions matter. If the visuals won't make you smile, the sounds will.

A timeless RTS, and one of the few I would recommend to someone new or a vet to the genre. Modding and developer support to this day, you will get hundreds of hours out of this game. One of my top 10.

My favorite competitive shooter now. Great art style, unique guns and a simple but fresh map system you can draw on mid-match. Plenty of CS and R6 refugees came here.

Shocked by how much more I liked this than the other Ubi titles as of late. The dialogue is always worth skipping but the gameplay is very fun. The parkour here is how AC should have been.

Sharing much of the same turn based and hit chance flaws as XCOM, this game is a lot better about unhelpable factors like missed shots that would make you furiously reload saves. PD > XCOM.

Rushed out the gate, the devs have played catchup with demand for a while now. Uncanny anatomy, worthless unlocks, strange class balance. Let's not forget the dropped story mode they sold the game on!

Write nice things to people. Write things to people who will write nice things to you. This is the most wholesome experience I've had with a "game".

Now that the base game is F2P and the DLC is moderately priced, I would recommend this to anyone that likes casual grind or basic FPS. The power level is a bit tedious, but the gameplay is satisfying.

You already bought VR, why don't you have one of the 4-5 games worth having on the platform? Why are you even reading this? Didn't you already buy it?

4 years later, and they're still updating! Helldivers is a great game for couch and online co-op, with tons of action and a great Starship Trooper-like atmosphere. Make sure you always bring a friend!
