It’s early access. Forever. This game has been early access for 7-8 years and is still in alpha, a long way from beta. There’s lots of bugs. Lots of placeholder text.

Even in this subpar technical state, Cities: Skylines 2 is a potent and captivating sandbox that’ll see the hours fly by as you engage with.

For the past few years, CD Projekt Red has undergone damage control. The studio released a long series of patches, worked on improved compatibility across systems.

What we have at the moment is a charming, funny and well-balanced management sim that is as difficult as it is fun.

Eternal Threads comes together as a solid, engaging narrative that keeps things simple, with a cleverly implemented time manipulation mechanic.

With a better user interface and some quality of life improvements, I could see how this game could be enjoyable for everyone.

Well-rounded, appealing offer that improves as you unlock more and more options.

The only con to the game is that it’s a bit short, but it’s still enough to keep you engaged by the mysteriousness of it all at a good pace.

While City of Gangsters is a solid mafia management sim but the combat holds it back from greatness.

As you progress, the story becomes even more enjoyable. I would have been happier if there was more to it, but with the limited control system and lack of upgrades or skill trees, it makes sense.
