This game gets so meta it confuses even itself. It's hard to explain, but the AI will criticize you for trying to find something more valuable in it than the initial appearance. But who listens to AI?

This game is a trap. A glorious, glorious trap. If you thought the AI in Talos Principle was bad, or even that GLaDOS was terrible, you could at least appreciate the fact she didn't steal your soul.

At first it seems like a normal narrative. In fact, it seems that way for quite awhile, which is a part of what makes this game so charming. Then it blindsides you, and you remember our reality.

This insightful game is an impressive simulation for understanding symbolically what depression is like. It's the closest to experience without having it that I have thusfar encountered in a game.
