A very well crafted TBS game about managing a company of mercenaries in a low-fantasy medieval setting. Roguelike/RPG elements well balanced between diffuculty and a sense of achievement and reward.

By the people who made FTL. It has the same multi-playthrough & roguelike approach but the rest is very different. Very hard turn based tactics but loosing is still rewarding. Occasionally tedious.

I didn't enjoy Firewatch. I loved this game and consider it to be everything I wanted in FW. I don't generally like adventure games but this was perfect for me. Characters and dialogue stand out.

Brutal. Luck of the dice, but careful strategy is vital to giving you an advantage. If you tend to rage quit or hate not being able to win, this is not the game for you. Replayed lots, never won.

Side-scroll tastic. Pretty original game mechanics and a very accomplished low-fi art style. Progression can be tricky, but when you pull it off is very rewarding and it manages to stay interesting.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew but with more to do and far cheaper. Playing with friends is practically a requirement. Still in development as of this review but emminently playable already.

Wonderfully atmospheric game. Very mellow with the hinted threat of danger in places. If you want to learn some ocean biology 101 it provides for that as well. Uses a sense of scale well. Pun intended

Manages to pull off an engrossing film noire-ish vibe combined with compelling gameplay and story progression. The moral ambiguity it presents you with is the icing on the cake.

If you even vaguely enjoy solitaire you really should get this. Manages to expand upon and make solitaire (more?) interesting. Bought this for my dad. First time he has binge played a game.

Edutainment, hate the word, love this game. They really have created a very playable game here which also maturely adresses real world issues. If on a buget it's more basic version is half the price.
