Car Mechanic Simulator is one of those games you pick up on sale because it's cheap but then turns out to be more fun that you thought it would be. Fun for a few hours for sure. Dubstep soundtrack!

The sequel to the popular Half-Life mod that birthed the FPS/RTS hybrid genre. Asymmetrical gameplay, Aliens versus Marines that feels like something out of a certain popular series... Game over man!

A mix of Isometric Action RPG and Twin-Stick Shooter with the comedic style akin to Borderlands, makes this post-apocalyptic zombie game fun and entertaining throughout the tongue-in-cheek story.

Hard Reset channels the shooters of yesteryear and adds a nice Cyberpunk/Blade Runner aesthetic to top it off. Great if you get it on a sale. Not so much at full price.

Orcs Must Die! mixes Tower Defense and Action RPG elements to make an incredibly deep and strategic puzzle game, while feeling like an action game.

It was tough deciding on my Game of the Year for 2011 and while it ultimately went to Deus Ex: Human Revolution, there was much reflection on whether this should be my #1. Definitely play this!

The best part of this game was the ending credits because it plays "Mother" by Danzig. If you've played the first two games and need to "see it through," that's fine, but stay away otherwise.

SMITE is a fresh take on the MOBA genre, third person action style. If you've played World of Warcraft PVP, you will find a similar feel/appeal in this game and it's many Gods(heroes).
