Champion Edition makes SFV the most solid while simple fighting game at the moment, but with a far better price tag than at launch; Capcom has really redeemed themself with the value of CE.

GMod is the source engine on all of the nondescript drugs. You can have a great time playing with physics or playing mini-games like TTT or Prop Hunt with your friends.

While not being ridiculously popular or innovation, BrainOut makes for a fun multiplayer experience that is best had with friends. Quick, reactive gameplay keeps the matches intense and involved.

Civilization V is the definitive Civilization experience. With its DLC, gameplay can be great offline against AI or online against some of your friends. Matches can last a while, but are always fun.

Payday can get slightly repetitive from time to time, but you can always go back to it with a few of your friends and have a fun time with bonus points for soundtrack.

Hi-Rez did an alright job when with their hero shooter. While not quite as memorable or enjoyable as Overwatch, it still has its moments and is an alright free alternative.

Smite redefined MOBAs by being third-person. The third-person perspective gives Smite the most enjoyable gameplay of its genre, but balance changes are questionable. It's adequate as a team game.

Tekken has always been the best 3D fighter, but Tekken 7 outclasses the competition for this generation of fighting games. The customization is still pretty good and the online is surprising alright.

You can always fall back on Terraria as a creative adventure sandbox, but this game really shines when you have some friends online. Boss fights are better with friends, but somehow mining is too.
