PRIMAL AXIS — END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

This Agreement is between you and Ásgeir Jónasson ("Licensor", "we", "us").
It applies when you download, install, or play Primal Axis on Steam, including any free demo content offered on this store page (each a "Product"). Access to the demo does not grant rights to the paid full game except as stated here and in Steam's terms.
By accessing a Product, you agree to this Agreement and to the Steam Subscriber Agreement (including refund rules on Steam).
1. License grant
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Product you obtained for private, non-commercial play on devices you own or control, subject to this Agreement and Steam's rules (including Steam Family Sharing where applicable).
2. Restrictions
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Product except where applicable law expressly allows. You may not modify, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly share the Product or its files except where Steam's terms expressly allow or we expressly permit in writing or through official modding tools we provide for the Product.
3. Ownership
The Products and all content (art, text, audio, code, trademarks, and Primal Axis™) remain our property or our licensors' property. This Agreement does not sell or transfer any intellectual property to you.
4. Demo and full game
The Primal Axis Demo is a limited free slice. Progress, saves, and unlocks in the demo do not transfer to the paid full game. The full game requires a new save. We do not guarantee that saves from development builds, playtests, or other versions load on release builds.
5. Updates and save data
We may release patches and updates. Updates may change balance, content, or save file formats. We are not obligated to maintain backward compatibility for saves from older versions. This Agreement applies to updated versions unless we publish a replacement agreement.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy (published on this Product's Steam store page) describes how we handle information. In summary: the shipped Products do not include third-party analytics or advertising trackers; progress is stored locally on your device. Contact support@primal-axis.com for privacy questions.
7. Termination
If you breach this Agreement, your license ends immediately and you must stop using the Product and delete your copies. Steam may also revoke access under its terms.
8. Disclaimer
THE PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits warranties or remedies that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence).
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM USE OF THE PRODUCTS.
Our total liability for any claim relating to a Product is limited to the amount you paid us for that Product in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or zero for the free demo).
Mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction are not affected.
10. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Iceland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in the EEA or another jurisdiction with mandatory local consumer protections, those protections may apply to you regardless of this choice of law.
11. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
12. Entire agreement
This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy on the Product's Steam store page and applicable Steam terms, is the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Products and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings about the Products.
