This End User License Agreement (this "Agreement" or "EULA") is a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and the developer GM2 Soft (represented by YUM DOO SUN; the "Developer"; contact: dev.yds25@gmail.com), governing your use of the PC game software Ship of the Line (the "Software" or "Game") developed and provided by the Developer.

The Game is sold and distributed through Steam (store.steampowered.com), the digital distribution platform operated by Valve Corporation. By purchasing, downloading, installing, or running the Game, you agree to all terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to this Agreement, do not install or use the Game.

This Agreement applies in addition to the Steam Subscriber Agreement (https://store.steampowered.com/subscriber_agreement/) and the Steam Terms of Service, which are entered into between you and Valve Corporation. In the event of any conflict between this Agreement and the Steam Subscriber Agreement, the Steam Subscriber Agreement shall prevail with respect to the Steam platform, payment, refunds, and accounts.

1. Subject to the terms of this Agreement, the Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Software for personal, non-commercial purposes.
2. Under this Agreement you acquire only the right to use the Software; you do not acquire any ownership or intellectual property rights in the Software itself.
3. To the extent permitted by the Steam Subscriber Agreement and Steam policies, you may install and use the Software on a computer that you own or control.


1. The Game is intended for users aged 14 and older. Children under the age of 14 may not purchase, install, or use the Game.
2. If you are a minor aged 14 to 18 (or below the age of majority established in your country of residence), you must obtain the consent of your legal guardian, and any payment must be made under the supervision and control of your legal guardian.
3. The age rating of the Game is displayed in accordance with the standards of Steam and applicable rating bodies, and you are responsible for reviewing the displayed age rating.


You shall not:

1. Copy, distribute, transmit, rent, sell, sublicense, or publicly transmit all or part of the Software, or create derivative works without the prior written consent of the Developer;
2. Reverse engineer, disassemble, or decompile the Software, or attempt to extract or analyze its source code, structure, or algorithms (except to the minimum extent expressly permitted by applicable law);
3. Tamper with or hack the Software's client, server, or communication data without authorization, or use the Game by abnormal means such as memory modification, macros, bots, cheats, or automation tools;
4. Remove, alter, or conceal any copyright notice, trademark, or other proprietary notice contained in the Software;
5. Use the Software or any part thereof to infringe the intellectual property rights, likeness rights, reputation, or other rights of the Developer or any third party;
6. Interfere with other users' normal use of the Game in multiplayer, or post or transmit unlawful, abusive, hateful, spam, or otherwise inappropriate content;
7. Use the Software in violation of applicable law or the Steam Subscriber Agreement or Steam policies.


1. All copyrights and intellectual property rights in the Software and all content comprising it (program code, graphics, ship/scenario/map designs, music and sound, text, data, historical depictions, etc.) belong to the Developer GM2 Soft or its legitimate rights holders.
2. Except for the license expressly granted herein, this Agreement transfers no rights in the Software to you. All rights not expressly granted by the Developer are reserved by the Developer.
3. Historical elements appearing in the Game, such as flags, ships, figures, and place names, are intended to depict historical facts; their use does not imply disparagement, endorsement, or affiliation with any particular country, organization, or individual.


1. Purchase of and payment for the Game are made solely through Steam (Valve Corporation), and the Steam Subscriber Agreement and Steam payment policies apply with respect to payment methods, taxes, currency, receipts, and the like.
2. Refunds are governed entirely by Valve's Steam Refund Policy (https://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds/). Because the Developer does not accept direct payments outside of Steam, the Developer cannot provide refunds to you directly.
3. You may request a refund through the Steam client or Steam Support (help.steampowered.com) in accordance with the conditions of the Steam Refund Policy (generally within 14 days of purchase and under 2 hours of play time). The refund eligibility period, review criteria, and processing procedures are subject to Valve's policy and may change.
4. Your rights to withdrawal and refund guaranteed by applicable consumer protection laws (including the Republic of Korea's Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the EU Consumer Rights Directive, and other consumer protection laws of your country of residence) take precedence over this section.


1. The Game may provide solo play against artificial intelligence (AI) and multiplayer conducted with other users through a server.
2. Online features, including multiplayer, are supplementary features provided only while the Developer's servers or third-party (e.g., Steam) infrastructure is available. The Developer may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the online features upon prior notice for business or technical reasons.
3. Solo play, which is the core value of the Game, can be used permanently regardless of the termination of server operations, as long as the Software functions normally. That is, even if the online servers are terminated, solo play and offline play remain available.
4. The Game may use Steam platform features such as Steam Achievements, statistics, and Cloud saves, to which Valve's policies also apply.


1. The Software may store game progress data, settings, and preferences on your computer or in Steam Cloud to the extent necessary for gameplay.
2. The collection, use, and storage of personal information are governed by a separate Privacy Policy, available on the Developer's official support page (https://kz2jxqqt9v-ui.github.io/ageofsail/).


1. The Software is provided "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE."
2. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer makes no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, or the achievement of any particular result.
3. However, rights guaranteed to consumers by mandatory provisions of applicable consumer protection law (such as rights regarding material defects) are not excluded by this section.


1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data, loss of business, or loss of profits) arising from the use of or inability to use the Software.
2. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer's total aggregate liability in connection with the Software shall not exceed the amount you actually paid to purchase the Game.
3. The limitations of liability in this section do not apply to damages caused by the Developer's willful misconduct or gross negligence, or to any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.


1. If you materially breach this Agreement, the Developer may terminate the license granted under this Agreement without separate notice.
2. If a refund is completed through Steam, the corresponding license shall lapse, and you may no longer continue to use or re-download the Software.
3. Upon termination of the license, you must cease all use of all copies of the Software. Sections 4 (Intellectual Property Rights), 8 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 9 (Limitation of Liability), and 11 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution) shall survive termination of the license.


1. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. However, the rights guaranteed to you by the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence as a consumer shall not be impaired.
2. In the event of a dispute between the Developer and you in connection with this Agreement or your use of the Software, the parties shall negotiate in good faith for an amicable resolution.
3. Any dispute not resolved through negotiation may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in accordance with the procedures prescribed by applicable law, and you retain the right to bring an action before the courts of your country of residence.


1. The Developer may amend this Agreement to the extent it does not violate applicable law.
2. If this Agreement is amended, the Developer will announce the effective date and reasons for the amendment through the Steam store page, in-game, or on the Developer's official support page. If you continue to use the Game after the announced effective date, you are deemed to have agreed to the amended Agreement.


1. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
2. This Agreement is executed with the Korean-language version as the official text; in case of any discrepancy in interpretation between the Korean version and a version provided in another language, the Korean version shall prevail.
