Sorry about the delay, we had a lot of awesome workshop entries to go through, and then we had to take a bit of time to lock down the final prizes themselves. But the time is upon us, the time to learn who won all the prizes and what they won! (to claim your prize, contact me at community@rpgmakerweb.com)

Next, we had our two Giveaways. One for the DLC 2: Return of DLC topic, and the other for having uploaded something to our Workshop in the first week.Our two winners here are:

cjfrick13 for uploading Cadolfia to the Workshop, AND alusair1 for his contribution in the DLC 2 thread. They have also both won a single RPG Maker DLC on Steam.

And last, but DEFINITELY not least... Who could have won the best of the first week of uploads on our workshop? Our workshop exploded with games and resources and demos. But one was specifically well liked, and really useful. And that was...

As some of you may know, Steam has recently implemented a Steam Tagging Beta. Users who opt into this beta can tag games, programs, DLC, etc. with customized categories!

So how do you win things, as the headline suggests? It's simple! Follow the Tagging Guide below for RPG Maker products and we will randomly select two winners on Wednesday every week! Each winner will receive a Steam key for one RPG Maker DLC of their choice!

The first winner will be selected from the pool of entries from the previous week. The second winner will be a cumulative selection, so if you submit an tagging entry tomorrow, you may still end up winning three weeks from now!

For each RPG Maker product you tag (with screenshot proof), you'll receive an entry into the drawing. For example: if you tag VX Ace and three DLC packs, you'll be entered into the drawing four times. For the sake of organization, please keep all of your screenshots contained to one post: you can edit previous posts to add more content.

Here's how you can access the tagging features and enter this giveaway!

Step 1
First, you'll need to opt into Steam Beta. Here is a guide on how to do this. (Select "Steam Beta Update" from the beta drop-down menu.)

We also recommend reading the Steam Tag Introduction here.

Step 2
After opting into Steam Beta Update, you'll be prompted to restart Steam. This may take a minute or two.

Step 3
After restarting, you can now access the Tagging feature! To tag our products and DLC, you'll need to go to the Store Page of that product. You can add tags on the right-hand side of the screen, as shown in this screenshot:

Take a screenshot of the tags you are using for either RPG Maker XP, VX Ace, or the DLC, like so:

(Please note that in the screenshot above, you can clearly see which tags are being created, as well as which product is being tagged. We'll need to see both of these things in your screenshot for you to be eligible for the giveaway.)'

VX Ace's Steam Workshop also serves as a centralized hub for aspiring developers like yourself, allowing you to promote your game and receive honest feedback from other Steam users!

This release has been a long time in the making, and we want to celebrate the occasion. First and foremost, Valve is featuring RPG Maker and most of the DLC titles in their Midweek Madness sale at 75% off!

As an added bonus, for the first week we will be holding drawings for prizes: all you have to do to enter is have something up in the Workshop! At the end of the week, we will even be picking some of our favorite uploads for even MORE winners. Don't miss out!

RPG Maker for the Not-So-Bright Screenshot Contest: Post a screenshot on Steam of a boneheaded mistake you've made, or a mistake you see made constantly, with a funny caption describing it. From writing errors to graphics mistakes, or from coding errors to clicking the wrong box, tell us about your comical RM error! Screenshots will be judged on helpfulness and humor.

DLC 2: Return of DLC Topic Giveaway: Which of our DLCs do you think needs a second visit with added resources? We will pick random participants from the conversation to win prizes!
