Portal 2 no longer required to be installed to run TWTM! (But you still required to own it to download TWTM)

That must resolve most startup problems and crashes.
- No longer "can't find background image 'materials/console/portal2_product_2.vtf" error (as required Portal 2 files are now included)
- No longer "Failed to create D3D device" (or just black screen) on first start (at least for most cases when it caused by absent video settings auto-detection)

- Video settings auto-detection - no longer first start at 640x480.

Some in-game crashes should also been resolved.

If you still have crashes, verify TWTM files (Right-click on game in Steam -> Properties -> Local files -> Verify integrity of game cache)

Please post in this thread if you have issues after update.

Note: BEE2 currently doesn't support TWTM at all. Don't try to install it, you will only get crashes.

REMEMBER: If you have any crashes, make sure that you are not in Portal 2 Beta, and verify Portal 2 files.
Mod only works if Portal 2 is installed in the same library folder.

Changed portable surface texture.
Fixed a bug with twin if the record was started while ducked
Fixed twin’s cube interaction with fizzer.
Fixed twin could freeze cube in the air.
Chamber 2a (Bor.): fixed some bugs
Chamber 2: Fixed bug with cube spawners
Chamber 5: added escape paths for rooms 2 & 3, removed final button
Added Korean subtitles.

  • Added keyboard options resources in all languages.
  • The German subtitles are updated. (Print to console "cc_lang german" to activate it)

  • Scene map with Bor*. Fixed stuck near Bor and many other bugs.
  • Chamber №1*. Fixed cheating ways. Fixed floor portal place.
  • Chamber №3* fixed. The absent water added. Fixed cubes drop trajectory. Replacing wall with translucent grid in place where you get cubes from twin.
  • Chamber №7* fixed visual floor bugs. Fixed cheating ways.
  • Chamber №8*. One more try to fix game crash when you see player portals through twin portals (This is Porta2 engine bug, so its hard to do something with it).

*Restart map from console if you have autosave on this map. It doesn't work correctly any more because version of map was changed (map replaced).
Print to console "restart".
