Hey all! We're happy to say we've fixed a couple bugs with background searches and also that we've added a new time option: Limited. Use this option to find time-limited matches only (and avoid unlimited length turns)

Experienced players, if you haven't tried time-limited turns yet, especially at 20, 30, or 45 seconds, it's a lot of fun. Kind of like speed chess... but with more skulls!

Release 1.12 - 8/26/13 - changelist 7662
Add "Limited" turn speed option for joining/searching for Skulls Online matches (matches any time limit)
Fix for player with bkgd search using any # of players would not correctly update open lobby slots if somebody else found that match using > 2 armies in their search.
Fix for improper matchmaking when background search is created with specific map & no gametype, and next player tries to join. search w/gametype specifically set.
Fix hidden rice paddy in MP 2P Lion's Gauntlet
Fix alt-tabbing on load/delete game dialogs not resining background properly
Rescan xact wavs in cases it fixes audio engine load fail issue on one machine.
Localization fix for text over run on Forgotten Isles info box on campaign map in some languages
Fix rare crash displaying emblem icon text

Working in the fast-moving field of electronic gaming journalism can be dangerous. If I’m not watching the latest trailer for Gunface Organ-Splatter: Uncensored Edition, I’m likely to be quivering in a corner because the latest trailer for Gunface Organ-Splatter: Uncensored Edition contained one too many close-ups of quivering viscera. Such things are not ideal viewing through the hazy veil of an insomniac’s hangover. Today, I thought I was safe. Skulls of the Shogun’s launch(ed on an OS people want to use) trailer surely wouldn’t trouble my nerves? Click below for children eating skulls and losing all> of their flesh.
