We just published an update to the game that introduces a new map and includes a tutorial.
The new map is called Silo and is very different from the previous maps, as it's vertically oriented. It's still in prototype phase, so let us know what you think of this one, as we're looking forward to hearing your feedback!
The new tutorial can be selected from the main menu, and will auto-start for new players. You can check it out if you like, but if you already know the basics of the game it's probably not that interesting ;)
This Thursday Sept 26 we're putting the "Speed" in SpeedRunners!
For 24 hours only, we're basically setting all variables to maximum overdrive, turning SpeedRunners into SUPER SpeedRunners. This makes the game go crazy fast, so I guess it's not for the faint-hearted.

We know you've been waiting a while for new maps, so that's why we decided to release not just one today, but two! They're both still "under construction" which means they don't have any final art yet, but they're definitely playable, so we're curious to hear what you think of them!
We just published a new build of the game that has two major new features that people have been asking for a lot: bots and friend invites!
Here's the full list of changes:
Added friend invites
Added an event calendar
Fixed a bug causing the level to invisible sometimes
We've been hearing a lot of players mentioning the lack of a singleplayer mode, so that was always something that we wanted to tackle. Initially, we were thinking about implementing a practice mode where you could do time trials in the multiplayer levels. However, that doesn't sound like a lot of fun, so what we did instead was WE ADDED BOTS!
Secondly, we re-introduced Friend Invites. This feature used to be in the beta-build, but we had it disabled up until now because it wasn't working properly. Gert-Jan has been working hard on it though and it's finally ready. So you can now get private games going more easily by inviting friends!
So if you start the game and click on Custom Game in the multiplayer menu, you'll see these two new features. Note that you can add bots to any multiplayer game, it doesn't matter if it's a local and/or an online match, but you can only do it through the custom game menu.
