Darwinia Update Released

Updates to Darwinia have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

Darwinia

• Grenade effect changed
  
• Fix graphical overruns for languages
  
• Toned down spirit effect
  
• Pixel Shader option is now split into three levels: disabled, partial and full
  
• Game cursor is now anti-aliased
  
• Toned down the explosion effect a little so that it's easier to see what's going on
  
• The game will now properly move on to the world map after finishing the prologue
  
• The new default resolution is automatically set to the desktop resolution
  
• The game will now pause properly when not in focus, instead of catching up at high speed

Darwinia Update Released

Updates to Darwinia have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

• Difficulty setting added to Other options menu:
  
  • Ranges from 1 (easy) to 10 (hard)
    
  • Higher difficulties increase the number, speed and health of enemies
    
  • Play on difficulty 10 and experience Darwinia On Steroids!
    
• Fixed problem where saving a game with Squaddies in transport would cause a crash on subsequent level load (InstantSquaddies bug)
  
• Updated German language translation
