Everything a SoR fan would want. Art is take it or leave it, but the mechanics are as strong as it possibly could

A Spiritual successor to Final Fight and Streets of Rage in every sense. Truer than Mother Russia Bleeds, and in some ways, surpassing even it's forefathers. Criminally overlooked.

A fast paced 3rd person shooter from the 2000s console era. Try to play this like a cover shooter and you'll die. Play like a madman and you'll start to understand it's appeal and mechanics.

Use fictitious social media in order to solve recent terrorist attacks. Engrossing narrative, unique gameplay, with a visually appealing art design. Not much in the way of replay though.

A Metroidvania game, originally on Xbox Live. This is a great port with improved visuals. A (somewhat) modern staple in a classic genre.

My personal 2019 GOTY. Capcom proved that single player games still have merit, while finding strong new grounds for the RE franchise. Terrifyingly detailed graphics and audio.

90s FPS mechanics, aesthetics, and sound, with seamless modernization (ie: Y-axis aiming lol). There's a lot of gimmicky "old school" shooters out there, but this one nails it. Super fast paced

A simple mostly text based survival game, with charming illustrations to help sell what's happening. Feels a little random at time, but surprisingly addictive

Will be remembered as the Baulder's Gate 2 of our generation. Strong CRPG mechanics with an equally strong narrative. Encourages experimenting with it's deep class customization. A timeless classic.

Even in early access the game feels great. It is EXACTLY as it's advertised, a Metroidvania-Souls-Rogue-Lite. The most chimara of indie video games.
