Why Early Access?

“Reventa is being developed by the one-man team at Studio Nihilominus. Because there is only one voice, hand, and vision behind Reventa, the game can enjoy rapid iteration and a strong identity but, as a consequence, there is no contrary opinion to challenge ideas or shape the game over time. This is where the community comes in; Early Access will allow Reventa to respond to feedback, enriching the game as a whole by adding what players like and changing what players don't.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Reventa's story is broken into 6 chapters. New chapters are expected every 4-8 weeks, for a total Early Access period of 10-12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The final scope of Reventa is 6 Story Chapters. There is currently 1 story chapter available, with more to come regularly during early access. Each chapter will add:

• 1 Earth map
  
• 1 Simulation map
  
• 1 new Enemy
  
• 1 new Boss
  
• Selection of Sutras (upgrades) and Codex Ciphers (lore entries).

Additional gameplay mechanics will accompany the release of some story chapters. Full controller support is on the project roadmap and will be included before leaving Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Reventa is a vertical slice of the full version. Please refer to the "About This" section below.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Price will not change when leaving early access.”

“Requests and suggestions made via the discussion page or official website will form the basis of decisions made during development. If there's a mechanic you'd like to see work differently, or a Sutra (upgrade) you believe should be in the game, there's a very good chance it will make in.”
