In the last five years alone, there have been four video game adaptations of the Warhammer 40,000 spin-off, Space Hulk. Plenty of chances to get it right, you d think, though the first three attempts suggest otherwise. And here comes Space Hulk: Tactics, once again throwing gruesome Genestealers against stompy Terminators in derelict spaceship corridors. It s not quite a combo-breaker, but it gets very close.

Space Hulk: Ascension - Sliverleech
We are currently working on a fix for all reported issues with SHA. A beta version is right now available in the public_test branch, and the public release is expected within days of this announcement.

Space Hulk Ascension just got bigger!

The new 1.4 update adds a new game mode to the game - Rogue Mode. This challenging mode pits you against random generated Space Hulks where the aim is to get as much score as possible to compete on Steam Leaderboards.

All known bugs have been fixed in this release as well, including the dreaded relic Assault Cannon bug.

Additionally there is a Successor Chapter DLC pack out as well adding the following super cool chapters to the game in one go:

* Novamarines
* Crimson Fists
* Angels of Redemption
* Flesh Tearers

They inherit the existing mechanics from their parent chapters that are already available in the game.

Toll the Bell of Lost Souls. Full Control, the folks most recently behind Space Hulk Ascension and Jagged Alliance Flashback, has stopped making games. The Danish studio ran into financial trouble and will soon only exist as a far smaller company selling and supporting their games. Current plans for DLC, updates, and ports are still in effect, but it’s unclear how much we’ll see from them or how they’ll exist after that.

“Ready the Defences!” - Imperial Fists Expansion Is Available Now Along With a New Patch For Space Hulk Ascension.

Imperial Fists Expansion (separate purchasable DLC)
  • Imperial Fists playable chapter
  • Full Shield of Retribution Campaign with 15 story missions and 20 flash missions
  • Tarantula heavy bolter turret as automated game unit

Imperial Fists generate less heat on their bolters and sergeants have the option to carry a single Tarantula into combat. They have a high defense bonus of +10, but have sacrificed the ability to use psychers.

Tarantula turrets exist in 2 versions. One with 180 degree overwatch cone and low ammo count and the upgraded 360 degree vision and high ammo version.

Shield of Retribution campaign contains 15-20 hours of additional gameplay with a brand new story. The missions are set up for the Imperial Fists and Tarantulas, but is perfectly playable with the other chapters. In this mission, the Imperial Fists discover an ancient Imperial vessel that has to be broken free and recovered.
