Every week moving forward we'll be choosing our favourite screenshot from the Community Hub and featuring it right here.
If your screenshot gets chosen you'll be rewarded with a DLC code from any of the car or track packs, the choice is in your hands.
This week's spotlight is on CyCo for his Demolition Derby screenshot
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=198048606 Congrats CyCo, drop me a friend request on here and we'll sort out your prize. If you take any great screenshots and want to submit them for next week's spotlight simply drop a link to them in the comments below or over on the forums.
Over the last few years it’s been great watching all the let’s play, reviews, previews and gameplay commentaries that our Community have created on YouTube.
We already engage with Community websites and have done so for quite some time, but we’d now like to extend this engagement with our talented video creators and more importantly see how we can serve you better.
As such we’ve decided to launch something that we are designating the ‘Codemasters Content Creator scheme’, or CCCS - catchy huh? Currently, if you are a Community focused website you’d likely have our contact details and regular news updates, asset releases, co-competitions and the occasional opportunity to attend special Codemasters events and even access to preview/review codes in some cases.
We’re now extending this service to YouTube content creators and we’re now inviting you to get in touch to express your interest in this scheme.
It’s also a good time to mention that, providing you stay within the terms of service for your video host, such as YouTube or Twitch. Any content you create will be yours; you can monetise it if you wish and you’ll receive no interference from us – providing that the material you upload is largely your own content, (no simply re-uploading or posting our content), though you are welcome to use snippets of Codemasters’ official videos. The other stipulation is that you do not charge people to view content based on our games.
To register your interest in being a part of the Codemasters Content Creators Scheme, all you have to do is drop us an email with some basic information as detailed below. Please note, that sending an email does not automatically enrol you into the scheme or grant you free copies of a game, review codes etc. It’s simply registering your interest and opening the door to a further discussion.
Based on the current amount of enquiries we get from YouTube content creators we’re expecting demand to be significant so please do bear with us during the initial few weeks.
Please also let us know why you’d like to be a part of the scheme and feel free to include anything else you think might be important, this could be anything from whether you’d prefer to race 100 duck sized cars or 1 horse sized car to a bit more about yourself.
We look forward to hearing from you, and more importantly, watching the content you create.

We know many of you use keyboards while playing our games and as a result it's something we've been discussing lately. In particular we want to know how we can provide you with better support to ensure that your gameplay is the same as those who choose to play on a wheel or game pad.
If you do play on a keyboard it would be great is if you could detail the following for us:
Wired or Wireless
Keyboard model (for example, a Razer Lycosa or Dell KB1421)
How do you find the experience playing with a keyboard?
Are there any specific features you'd like to see us support relevant to keyboards?
Anything else you think would be of use
Any insight and feedback you have would be greatly appreciated :)
Test Drivers wanted – fancy a trip to Codies for super-exclusive, super-secret early game access?
We’ve said before that we’re really focussed on getting your feedback about our games - well, one of the initiatives we’re keen to launch is to get you guys involved at a much earlier stage. Earlier, even, than announcement….
We always have various projects on the go at Codemasters, small and big, and whilst we always take into account player feedback, whether through our community channels or other forums or comments stages, and we can assure you that as much of this information as possible is shared and discussed amongst our various teams. Whilst we can’t always act on everything, we do hear it and big projects, like the GRID 2 Demo Derby free DLC release and our first steps into modding support for GRID 2 have genuinely come directly from your suggestions.
With that in mind, how would you like to be involved in feeding back on a game from its earliest stages?
We’re looking for really core racing fans initially, and we know there’s plenty of you out there.
We’re hoping to get the first group of people in soon so if you are interested please can you send an email to gridgame@codemasters.com with the following information:
Name
Location
Why you want to come and tell us what we're doing wrong (or right!)
Very brief racing game experience (emphasis on the Codemasters games but feel free to list others as well)
Your one sentence review of GRID 2
Note: The more information you can give us the better your chance at being selected, we're looking for the most dedicated racers our there :)
It's competition time and we want to see your best Demo Derby moments. Have you had a brutal crash, an epic mid air near miss or perhaps you've found yourself upside down in a pile of tyres.
Simply share your screenshots and videos in the comments below and we'll pick our favourites on Monday. With the three winners each receiving some DLC codes.
If you've not yet picked up the DLC, head over to the store page and hit download, it's free[/b]
