Vector doesn't only have a customized bedroom, he has a Portal bedroom, complete with Companion Cubes and an Aperture-branded toilet. Ah, to be a kid!
There's also GLaDOS watching over Vector's room, which I'd say is totally creepy if Vector didn't seem so deliriously happy about his room.

The hosts of this video, HouseholdGamer, call this series of Skyrim tweaks a "Team Fortress 2" mode. I can see the resemblance, but to me, it looks like like a Killer7 mode.
It looks this weird because there are no textures. None whatsoever. There's just 3D models, the sky and you, which is why everything looks so naked. And surprisingly awesome.

If you'd like a free insane costume for the Heavy in Team Fortress 2, you have about two days to pick it up. It also helps if you want Saints Row: The Third on PC, as that's what you have to preorder to grab it.
The game, which is $49.99 comes with three pieces of flair: "The Mark of the Saint," or a shiny badge that any class may wear; then the "Apoco-Fists" and "The Cold War Luchador," which are Heavy-only. (Seen above). All this stuff is based on the Luchadores gang from Saints Row: The Third who are themselves rather robust individuals.

Dead End Thrills, a great site for your downtime/wallpaper needs, is a bit of a favourite of mine. And for good reason.
They take screenshots very seriously, turning them from promotional tool or keepsake into art. And not just the kind of art that you just stare at. The kind that's a little more practical, that you can also turn into wallpaper.
Some of the game's you'll find in this gallery include Portal 2, EVE Online, Mirror's Edge and Modern Warfare, though you'll of course find a ton more at the link below.
To see the larger pics in all their glory (or so you can save them as wallpaper), right-click on the "expand" icon on the main image above and select "open in new tab".

In an old Mr. Bean episode titled "Merry Christmas, Mr. Bean", the titular hero gets his head lodged in a turkey. It's a classic, and what inspired this Team Fortress 2 workshop creation.
Items in Steam Workshop are up for consideration in Team Fortress 2.
While the game is known for its funny hats, it also should be known for its fresh poultry. On players' heads.
If for some reason you have not seen the previously mentioned Mr. Bean episode, do yourself a favor and watch it here. If you've already seen it, do yourself a favor and watch it again. And again.

If your Christmas gift guide needs an entry in the "stuff that sounds stupid at first but then you quickly realise it's amazing" section, ThinkGeek's talking Cave Johnson portrait should do the trick.
Officially licensed by Portal creators Valve, the portrait measures 15 1/2" x 11 1/2", and comes packed with thirteen phrases (the actual ones from Johnson's wonderful voice actor JK Simmons) that can be activated either by walking past it or pressing the things' plaque.
It'll sell for USD$40 and will be available next month.

Who needs a hostile little mobile phone when you can drop Portal's malevolent artificial intelligence onto a PC and have her watch you via Kinect?
Corey Thomas has rigged up his Kinect camera's voice recognition to not just operate his PC, but to snap back at hi with canned lines from GlaDOS.
The implementation isn't perfect, nor is it all-encompassing, but for a home-brewed effort it's still pretty impressive!

Don't you go forgetting that Valve Presents: The Sacrifice And Other Steam-Powered Stories goes on sale later this month.
The book collects Left 4 Dead: the Sacrifice, Team Fortress 2: War!, Mac, Loose Canon, Bidwell's Big Plan, Meet the Director and associated materials; and Portal: Lab Rat into one easy to grasp collection with a forward by Australia's own Saxton Hale.
The 208-page hardcover book will run you $25 and, according to Hale at least, it's meant for children and simpletons.
Roomie is, according to his YouTube page, "a Swedish guy who makes music videos." He releases a new one every Tuesday.
This past week, he released a cover of Portal's "Still Alive". It sounds like an American TV theme song from the late 1980s or 1990s. I kind of like that.

Team Fortress 2 is getting some updates for Halloween: Objects, items, hats, you know the deal. It's also, though, got something a little more exciting: a new Team Fortress 2 comic.
One that tells the tale of how the Demo lost his eye. And how cute a Saxton Hale costume looks on a little fat kid. And how a kid can dress up as France and somehow get away with it.
You can read the comic below. For more info on the items being released for Halloween, head here.
