1. Core Gameplay Overhaul
● Added unique Triple-upgrade stats for 151 bullets.
● Now, whether it's a Hit, Carry, or Timer bullet, achieving a Triple will grant it a powerful unique effect, replacing the generic '+1 Penetration'.
● Stats boosted by the Triple effect are now highlighted in a bright color for clarity.
● A new 'Show Triple Versions' option has been added to the Archive, allowing you to preview all upgrades.
● Please note: The Triple effects for a small number of bullets will receive further fine-tuning in future updates.
2. Balance Adjustments
● Reduced the elemental requirements for all Seals, making them easier to activate.
● Tuned down the enemy stats in certain waves of Difficulty 4 & 5.
● Reduced the Death Rush damage from the Dimensional Shard from 2 to 1.

A few days have passed since the release of episode 5.0, so it’s time for a little recap. Usually, I don’t enjoy the first few days after an update because people write opinions right away. I get lots of messages saying the update was “short” or that people are disappointed. But I also got many messages saying you liked it, which makes me really happy, so it's quite a rollercoaster.
I know SoD has both fans and haters, and that’s totally fine—it’s a genre that not everyone will like. I also like to be a bit sarcastic and unprofessional sometimes, so let’s just say we’re even :D
If I could complain about something, it’s that people still think the updates are “short” just because we are undedicated or lazy. I’ve been spending an average of 300 hours a month on the project for the last three years, even working on Sundays, because I love what I do. Making renders and the whole game setup takes a lot of time, and it can’t be rushed without losing quality. (Yes, we’re actively looking for new artists, but haven’t found anyone yet.) I repeat this often because I really hope people understand it eventually.
Still, I’m happy to see how SoD has grown and how many fans it has. I’ll do my best to keep it that way.
As you know, around mid-December—tentatively December 12—we’ll release a new Christmas DLC called “A Dream of Christmas.” We’re still working on it, but we’re doing everything to finish it before the holidays. You can already add it to your wishlist! In future posts, I’ll slowly reveal little secrets about it and share some renders.

I believe it has grown into something players can truly enjoy.
It’s an idle game with a touch of achievement added as a new spice.

The final version is ready, and I've added the last few touches you've mentioned over the past few weeks:
✔ Lighting adjusted in several rooms at the end of the game.
✔ Minor tweaks to the user interface.
✔ Added some options to the settings menu.
✔ Changes to visual feedback.
✔ Performance improvements in section C.


The game is now closed and ready for day 1.

So there are a number of items to mention in this update post.
1. Steamcloud saves no longer syncs settings between devices. This means controls and performance settings aren't synced. So your PC can use mouse and keyboard settings at 4K but your steamdeck retains its gamepad settings. Quite a big QoL of deck users. This change is live for all users
Beta improvements availlable on game properties/betas/beta patch
1. The Mad Lector Battery unique building now comes in three colors, green, red and blue. The location you place it will determine the color, just move it slightly to get a color thats saved in your file. The Battery was always a fun photomode enhancenment/cosmetic. but now you can make even more atmospheric shots.
2. Half V-sync added as option. This is essential if you have a 240hz monitor but your PC cannot run at that resolution and framerate. (or your hyve city is preventing you). then you can run the game at a v-synced 120 fps. Or if your monitor is 100hz you can now choose to play v-synced at 50hz
3. 85% downsampling added to AA settings,. in addition to 150 and 200% upscaling, there's a 85% downscaling. this lowers the resolution of the gameview, while keeping the interfaces at native resolution. You would only want to use this on steamdeck or portable low resolution devices..
Bugfix:
The Mancer Lord Illuminator could be prevented from sailing up if you already acquired the top tier ship captain thru the entagon.. now fixed.
