As a token of gratitude for your patience and support, all Open Beta participants will receive, in addition to the “Combat Classic” weapon skin, 200 Efritan Crystals (premium currency) after the game’s release.
We want to emphasize that the primary goal of the Open Beta was to identify complex issues under real player load. We are now actively working on fixing the most critical ones:
— Critical progression-saving errors
— Server stability issues
We understand that many players encountered problems during the Open Beta. The test build contained several critical issues, and we acknowledge that more thorough pre-testing would have resulted in a smoother experience. It is undoubtedly our responsibility to ensure player comfort.
We will not promise quick fixes, nor will we announce new content until these fundamental issues are resolved. Our top priority is to use the data gathered during testing to ensure the game runs stably at release.

Question 1: What are your impressions of the Knight Case Files series?
I got a cool impression of another world, mystery, tension, and dark fantasy.
Just peeking in, I sensed there were kind-hearted people, pranksters, folks with great personalities (lol), and a bright, vigorous energy.
What makes this work truly captivating is how it meticulously portrays the characters' backgrounds and connections, alongside their relationships with others.
PVからお世話になっていますが・・・ヴィルヘルムが僕でいいんですか!?というのが正直な感想でした。
風凪ひかりさんデザインの今作のキャラクターの中でもかっこかわいい印象でしたが、読み進めるうちにぱっと見では分からない魅力を感じて、他の誰にも渡したくない良い相棒としてのめりこむことが出来ました。
Question 2: Please tell us about your experience before and after portraying your character.
I've been following you since the PV... but honestly, my reaction was, “Wilhelm, is it really okay for me to be the one!?”
Among the characters designed by Kazenagi Hikari for this work, she stood out as both cool and cute. Yet as I read on, I discovered a charm not immediately apparent at first glance, and I became completely hooked on her as a partner I wouldn't want to share with anyone else.
トファーフは最初まったく太刀打ちできないというか、高嶺の花というか、知識や能力的に圧倒的な場所にいる人の様に感じましたが・・・関わっていくうちに凄く幼かったりもろい部分が見えてきて、そこがヴィルとしても非常に共感できた部分なんだと思います。
からかわれたり常識が合わなかったりする部分を見ると、
「あ、あなた、いやうん、あんたはさーーーーなんでさーーーーもーーー!」
と言いたくなったりもします(笑)
Question 3: Please tell us your thoughts on Tofafu, with whom you had particularly frequent interactions.
At first, Topherf felt completely out of my league—like an unattainable ideal, someone standing in a place of overwhelming knowledge and ability... But as I got to know him, I saw how incredibly childlike and fragile he could be, and I think that's what Vil could really relate to.
When I see parts where they tease me or our common sense doesn't align,
I feel like saying, “Ah, you, no, wait, you know what? Why the heck do you—?”

*Previously Fixed Issues*
Fixed an issue where players could freely save inside the dungeon. Saving on certain floors previously caused save data corruption and game crashes. Saving is now disabled in these areas.
To prevent similar issues in the future, a “Forced Return to Town” safety mechanism has been added. If an abnormal dungeon save is loaded, the character will automatically be returned to a safe area.
→ This is expected to reduce crash occurrences for some players in labyrinth areas.
Fixed an issue where enemies stopped attacking when MP reached 0 on the 4th dungeon floor, causing players to become stuck in battle.
Fixed an issue where the character’s status display remained in Japanese when entering the Aroused state in the dungeon while using the English language setting. Several other untranslated elements have also been corrected.
Fixed incorrect image file names in the Simplified Chinese version
Fixed an issue where pressing the S key in the dungeon caused abnormal behavior
Regarding the issues on the 3rd dungeon floor: a temporary fix has been applied so that dungeon state automatically resets when loading a save. A full official fix will be released once the root cause is confirmed.

Custom key bindings were automatically reset to the default WASD configuration when entering the dungeon.

Corrected several text elements that were still displayed in Japanese.
Fixed an issue where the game mistakenly triggered the “day change system” during dungeon exploration, causing the player to be forcibly returned to the inn after 9 PM and immediately advanced to the next day.

The professional world of tattooing is always trying to put each artist in a box. And of course, the video game world does that too.
For every traditional-style tattoo, there is a pixel-art video game.
As a tattoo artist, the closest box I can be put in is probably “ignorant style,” and so I think it’s only fitting that I’d call the style of the game ignorant as well.
What I like the most about art is the sense of style. I don’t really care about technique as much as I care about the recognizability of the artist.
I’ve always loved the moment when I can tell who the artist is through their work. I think that’s what impresses me the most in many different mediums.
Chrono Trigger’s character artist is obviously the same guy who does Dragon Ball - nobody needed to tell me that. Across different forms of media even - you just know it’s Akira Toriyama.
So instead of technique, what I strive for as an artist is that; recognizability.
It’s not really for acclaim or anything like that, but I think it’s just a fun goal.
So while “ignorant style” is kind of a jab by the old-school studio / trad-dad tattoo artists, I kind of like the ignorance of not caring about technique - because as they say, ignorance is bliss.
I used to strive for technique when growing up and drawing, but perfection is a stressful thing to reach for. And I don’t think art should be stressful.
When I really looked at whether I value technique like that as an adult - when it comes to the video game world, AAA hyper-realistic games don’t excite me anymore. It's that je ne sais quoi.
I’ve seen real life, show me something else now.
