




Hey everyone,
Fatal Falls has been released about a year ago. Thank you for playing, sharing feedback, reporting bugs, creating videos, and helping this strange little psychological horror project grow far beyond what I expected. There are a few things I'd like to address.
I’ve decided to make the game free for everyone starting next week.
Over the past year, the game has evolved in ways that made its original pricing feel out of sync with my intentions. Fatal Falls began as a story about mental health, loss, and perspective, and I want it to be accessible to as many people as possible, especially those who might connect with its themes but can’t afford to buy it.
Additionally, the most valuable part of this project is the community itself, not sales. Making it free will open the doors for more players, more discussion, and more visibility for the narrative.
I experimented with porting the game to Unity 6. After several weeks of testing, I’m officially canceling the upgrade. The engine introduced too many breaking changes and unpredictable errors, especially with lighting, physics, and some of my custom systems. Stability always comes first, and the current version of Fatal Falls runs far more reliably on the existing Unity build.
So: no Unity 6 for now, or possibly ever. The priority remains keeping the game functional for all players. If you have concerns due to the recent Unity security issue, you might want to avoid playing the game.
This year has been an absolute journey. Thank you for being part of Fatal Falls, for sticking around through patches, weird bugs, and everything in between.

"Akaihime" is a codename, she never had a real name. Her earliest memories are from a children's welfare institute whose founder viewed children as tools for government subsidies. The children endured bullying and hunger. In this toxic environment, Akaihime learned deception and theft early, eventually leaving the despised orphanage alone.
To survive on the streets, the young Akaihime used every means possible. She knew her advantages: intelligence, beauty, and mastery of deception... all became bargaining chips for survival. Struggling in the underworld gave her sharp insight into human nature. By exploiting and manipulating desires, she established and controlled her own red-light district before adulthood.
Fate shifted when a KGB agent appeared. intending to infiltrate the red-light district and society's gray areas, he encountered Akaihime and fell under her deception and charm, exposing his origins and identity. When he finally recalled his mission, shame and anger were mixed with admiration for her cunning and methods.
One of the world's most powerful intelligence agencies extended an olive branch. Akaihime silently watched the man amid swaying music and dance. Facing the invitation, she knew two outcomes awaited: elimination or recruitment. It was a huge gamble, but Akaihime was already weary of the dull society in tense times—she craved a chance to change her life, even the world... Everything went as she anticipated.

Skill Cycling is Key:
Actively trigger "Overkill" (excess damage or consecutive kills) to refresh skills and sustain aggression and mobility.
Engage/Disengage Artistry:
Combine Q and E for rapid entry/exit from combat zones, evading enemy aim and prediction, with added damage reduction.
Prioritize Shooting:
While slides are flexible, "shoot more, slide less" in practice. Avoid overusing movement and waste output opportunities. Ensuring effective damage from a safe distance is key to high efficiency.
Beware Countermeasures:
Experienced engineers pre-place traps in smoke—avoid predictable patterns.
Recommended Talents:
Prioritize heal acceleration, movement speed, and attack speed (sacrificing melee damage).

Summary
Akaihime is a classic high-risk, high-reward flanker. She exerts sustained pressure on enemy backlines and flanks through extreme mobility and assassination prowess. However, her low base survivability heavily relies on operational awareness and skill timing, making her not recommended for beginners in high-pressure matches.
